Do's and Dont's of Plasti Dip
What is Plasti Dip?
The proper term for it is a rubberized coating that is sprayed on. It works on many surfaces. It was originally used to dipping tools.
What use does it have in the car world?
Plasti dip is used for nearly everything.
Used to change the color of your car, the cars rims, emblems, etc.
Why it's good?
It's cheaper than repainting or wrapping your car. It protects your car with its putter coating. It's easy to take off. Just rub it off and peel it all off
Do's
1.Use it to change the color of your car
2. Change the color of your rims properly (see Dont's)
3. Mix well and use proper layers of coating all around
4. Use it on your emblems
Dont's
1. Use an excessive amount
2. Use black on your rims if it's not gloss
3. Use it on all your emblems
4. Color your rims a color that isn't a neutral. (Green, pink, red, etc.) unless you're a drifter
5. Don't think your car will always look better with Plasti dip
6. Don't show off Plasti dip
7. Don't use it on a car that cost more than $100,000
8. Don't use it on your exhaust (bad idea)
9. Don't be a river with it (don't get carried away)
